Dr. Hyunseo Lee was born in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois but was raised in Ormond Beach, FL for the majority of her life. She then moved up north and obtained her degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College in New York City. She returned to Florida to obtain her D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee then pursued post-graduate training at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, NC for her one-year general practice residency, where she was able to expand her skillset in dentistry and also enjoy the mountains. During her free-time, Dr. Lee enjoys making gouache paintings, cooking/baking, golfing, and staying active.
Although she is a Floridian, she is a mountain person at heart and will never pass up the opportunity to go on a hike for amazing views. Dr. Lee is always looking for ways to become more involved in expanding her knowledge in the dental field. She is passionate about digital dentistry and incorporating it into her work to provide patients only the best quality of care. She also specializes in in-house crowns. Dr. Lee is thrilled to join the team and take part in the patient-centered care offered at Smiles by Design.
